A bird wallpaper border with a soft. patternThe Birds wallpaper border alternates a bird in flight, a crescent moon and two small stars, all framed by two striped borders that hold the motif like a braid. Simple drawing, muted palette: it’s closer to illustration than patterned wallpaper, and that’s precisely what makes it easy to live with.
Where to put. itIts 15 cm height makes it the most generous of our wallpaper borders — it can be seen, without occupying the wall: at the head of the bed, in a child’s room as well as in an adult’s room ; halfway up the wall in a bathroom, just above the tiles ; at the top of the wall, just under the ceiling, to give the impression of a higher room ; around a door, window, or mirror.
Two colours. The pattern is available in brown and black. Brown, in its warm and muted tones, goes with light woods, linen and off-white; The black cuts out more and makes the drawing much more graphic. The bird, on the other hand, does not change — it is the contrast that makes all the difference between the two.
Simple, water-based. installationThe paper is pre-glued : you just have to moisten it to activate the glue, without buying any glue separately. A clean, smooth wall, a little water, and the wallpaper border is in place.
